Women in Construction (WIC) Week, celebrated March 1-7, 2009, provides a unified time for our members and other NAWIC members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities the construction industry holds for potential employees and to highlight women as a visible, growing force in the industry.
During WIC Week, all members are encouraged to increase their efforts to promote NAWIC and our local chapter to business associates, clients, customers, friends, etc. We will have WIC Week buttons available at our February 18, 2009 meeting to wear during WIC Week.
